Logistics Executive

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Executive to oversee and manage our logistics operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and transportation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics procedures, particularly in the Jebel Ali region, and will be adept at coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely and cost - effective delivery of goods. Key Areas of Responsibilities: • Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle, ensuring orders are delivered to end-users efficiently and on time. • Streamline shipping and transportation processes to enhance operational efficiency. • Possess a thorough understanding of logistics procedures for materials entering and exiting Jebel Ali. • Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth logistics operations. • Handle shipping documents for shipments from the Far East & Europe to the Middle East, and Africa. • Oversee shipment clearance procedures in Jebel Ali and other GCC countries. • Arrange transportation and coordinate delivery schedules with freight forwarders and customers. • Communicate effectively with suppliers, retailers, and customers to secure profitable deals and ensure mutual satisfaction. • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements. • Maintain accurate logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders (Warehouse Management) • Prepare detailed and accurate reports for upper management. we are looking for a candidate who has experience working directly with a principal company. proficiency with the end-to-end logistics functions, inventory management, supplier coordination and internal procedures in SAP driven environment is a must. Degree holder in a relevant field or Certification in Logistics & Supply Chain. • A valid UAE driving license is an added advantage. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role. • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. • Knowledgeable about laws, regulations, and ISO requirements, especially JAFZA • SAP proficiency • LC & CAD payment handling • Inventory and warehouse management • Knowledge of VAT regulations and RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism) • Compliance with tax and statutory requirements Please note that only candidates exactly meeting the criteria would be contacted
