### **General Information** Ref \# MRO\_AM\_WHS Location Qatar\-Doha Job family Engineering * Closing Date: 2026\-08\-31 ### **Description** Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technical Engineering team as a Licensed Aircraft Technician \- Workshops.* You will be responsible to ensure that carrying out Airpack heat exchanger Repair \& Overhaul. * You shall be responsible for certifying heat changer repair and overhaul process and meeting Shop TAT standards and delivery times. * Additionally, you shall be responsible for ensuring airworthiness and safety compliance i.e. manufacturer’s recommendation. * You shall be responsible to ensure adherence to regulatory (EASA/QCAA Part 145\) compliance while performing component maintenance. **Specific responsibilities for the role include:*** Ensures that all aircraft components maintenance work is accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures to achieve highest quality product.* Responsible for completion and certification of scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance assigned tasks by exercising the authorization privilege to meet operational needs.* Advising any impending work\-related problems which can create impact on work progression to engineer in charge and implement solutions to problems using expertise and knowledge.* Responsible for effective and correct operation of equipment by adhering to instruction manual for safe work environment.* Responsible for usage of correct tools and equipment for scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance to ensure full compliance of regulations.* Defining work priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources is employed to meet tasks completion/component release deadlines. **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. Together, everything is possible. ### **Qualification** **The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job\-related experience. * 4 years’ work experience on B777/B787 heat exchangers. Must have 1 company authorization covering either B777/B787 Air\-conditioning Pack Heat Exchangers. * Knowledge of component maintenance fundamentals and procedures. * Knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation and proper handling. * Excellent internal and external stakeholder management. **About Qatar Airways Group** Our story started with four aircraft.
