**Position: Registered Midwife** **Location: Doha, Qatar** Employer: A Reputed Hospital Group in Doha Number of Vacancies: 08 Positions Salary: QAR 5,000 – 5,500 per month (Based on experience and qualifications) **Job Overview** A reputed hospital group in Doha is looking for experienced and compassionate Registered Midwives to join their maternity care team. The ideal candidates should have strong clinical experience in providing comprehensive midwifery care throughout pregnancy, labour, delivery, and the postnatal period while ensuring safe, evidence\-based, and patient\-centred care. Applications are invited only from candidates currently available in Qatar with valid QCHP/DHP Midwife License or completed DHP/QCHP Evaluation. **Eligibility Criteria** Valid QCHP/DHP Registered Midwife License OR DHP/QCHP Evaluation Completed. Candidates must be currently available in Qatar. Recognized qualification in Midwifery: Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery, or Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized institution, or Nursing qualification with recognized Postgraduate Midwifery qualification (as applicable). Minimum relevant clinical experience in maternity and midwifery care. Experience working in hospital maternity units, Labour \& Delivery, Antenatal and Postnatal care. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Preferred Certifications Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification will be an added advantage. Additional training in fetal monitoring, obstetric emergency management, or lactation support will be preferred. **Key Responsibilities** Provide professional midwifery care to women during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. Conduct comprehensive assessments of mothers and monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing. Provide support and care during normal labour and childbirth within the scope of midwifery practice. Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, and labour progress using appropriate clinical assessments and fetal monitoring techniques. Identify deviations from normal pregnancy or labour and escalate concerns promptly to obstetricians and the medical team. Assist in managing obstetric emergencies according to hospital protocols. Provide immediate care and support for newborns following delivery, including initial assessment and neonatal support. Promote breastfeeding, newborn care education, and maternal health awareness. Provide emotional support, counselling, and health education to mothers and families. Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records. Follow infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, and hospital policies. Work collaboratively with obstetricians, nurses, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals. **Required Clinical Skills \& Experience** Labour \& Delivery Room experience. Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal Care (PNC). Normal vaginal delivery assistance and management. Newborn assessment and immediate newborn care. CTG/Fetal Monitoring knowledge. Experience in handling obstetric emergencies. Knowledge of maternity protocols, patient safety standards, and evidence\-based midwifery practices. **Important Note** This vacancy is specifically for Registered Midwives and not for General Nurses.
