**Job Title:** Lawyer \- Corporate **Department:** Legal **Location:** Jeddah, Saudi Arabia **Reports To:** Head of Legal Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly capable **Lawyer** to provide legal advice and representation across commercial matters, contracts, disputes, and litigation. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in **Saudi commercial law and commercial litigation**, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to represent clients before judicial and relevant legal authorities. The role requires a bilingual legal professional who can confidently **draft, review, negotiate, and advise on legal documents in both Arabic and English**, while providing commercially practical and strategic legal solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Legal Advisory * Provide legal advice on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. * Advise management and business teams on legal risks, obligations, and potential liabilities. * Interpret and apply applicable Saudi laws and regulations to business activities. * Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions aligned with business objectives. Commercial Litigation \& Dispute Resolution * Manage and handle commercial disputes and litigation matters from initiation through resolution. * Represent clients before courts, judicial authorities, committees, and other relevant legal bodies. * Develop litigation strategies and prepare legal arguments, pleadings, submissions, and responses. * Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, judicial principles, and precedents. * Coordinate with external counsel, experts, and other professional advisors where required. * Monitor litigation matters, deadlines, procedural requirements, and case developments. Contract Drafting \& Review * Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements and legal documentation. * Review contracts to identify legal, commercial, financial, and operational risks. * Ensure contracts adequately protect the company's interests. * Support business teams during contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, service providers, partners, and other stakeholders. * Develop and maintain standard contract templates and legal precedents. Legal Research \& Documentation * Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, notices, claims, responses, and other legal documents. * Conduct detailed legal research on commercial and corporate matters. * Provide clear and practical legal recommendations to senior management. * Maintain accurate records of legal matters, contracts, disputes, and litigation. Compliance \& Risk Management * Monitor changes in applicable Saudi laws and regulations and assess their potential impact on the business. * Advise management regarding regulatory and legal compliance requirements. * Identify potential legal exposure and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures. * Support the development and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures. Candidate Qualifications The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications: * **Full professional proficiency in English**, both spoken and written. * Strong knowledge and practical experience in **Saudi commercial law and commercial litigation**. * Excellent **advocacy and legal representation skills**, with proven experience representing clients before judicial authorities. * Demonstrated ability to **draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts**. * Proven ability to prepare high\-quality **legal memoranda, opinions, pleadings, and legal submissions** in both **Arabic and English**. * Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent understanding of litigation procedures and dispute resolution mechanisms in Saudi Arabia. * Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and work effectively under deadlines. * Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder\-management skills. * High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Education \& Professional Experience * Bachelor's degree in **Law (LLB)** or equivalent legal qualification. * Relevant professional legal qualification or license to practice in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable, where applicable. * **4–8\+ years of relevant legal experience**, preferably within a reputable law firm, corporate legal department, or commercial organization. * Strong experience handling **commercial disputes, litigation, contracts, and corporate legal matters**. * Saudi legal experience is strongly preferred.
