Laser Hair Reduction Technician

Job Summary Responsible for performing laser hair reduction treatments using approved laser equipment, conducting client assessments and ensuring safe, effective treatments in accordance with clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities • Perform laser hair reduction treatments as per approved protocols. • Assess skin type, hair type and treatment suitability. • Explain procedures, potential side effects and aftercare instructions. • Maintain accurate treatment records and client histories. • Ensure proper handling, cleaning and maintenance of laser equipment. • Follow laser safety, infection control and patient safety protocols. Job Skills Qualifications & Experience • Academic qualification as a Registered Nurse, Assistant Nurse or Beauty Therapist, as applicable under DHA requirements. • Accredited Laser Hair Reduction training certification. • Evidence of 10 hands-on laser training cases, where required under the applicable licensing route. • Relevant clinical or laser treatment experience preferred. • DHA eligibility/licence as a Laser Hair Reduction Technician. Required Skills • Practical knowledge of laser hair reduction technology. • Understanding of skin types, pigmentation and contraindications. • Knowledge of laser safety and infection control. • Good communication and patient-handling skills.
