Land Surveyor – Construction

Job Description We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Land Surveyor – Construction** to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveys, setting out works, establishing levels and coordinates, and supporting site teams in the proper execution of construction activities. Key Responsibilities * Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys at project sites. * Perform accurate **setting out, leveling, alignment, and positioning** of construction works. * Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference points. * Operate surveying equipment including **Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying instruments**. * Check and verify measurements, elevations, coordinates, and site dimensions against approved drawings. * Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, as\-built data, and related documentation. * Interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings for site setting\-out requirements. * Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and construction teams. * Monitor construction activities to ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, levels, dimensions, and tolerances. * Carry out surveys for excavation, foundations, columns, slabs, roads, drainage, utilities, and other construction works. * Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the concerned engineer. * Maintain proper records of survey data and ensure surveying equipment is accurate and properly maintained. * Support preparation and verification of as\-built drawings and final survey documentation. * Follow company quality, safety, and site procedures at all times. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in **Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field**. * Proven experience as a **Land Surveyor in construction projects**. * Strong practical knowledge of **Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and surveying instruments**. * Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings. * Knowledge of setting\-out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements. * Experience in building, villa, commercial, high\-rise, infrastructure, or civil construction projects is an advantage. * Good knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is preferred. * Strong numerical, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication and coordination skills. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner is preferred.** * Candidates with previous **Bahrain/GCC construction experience** are highly preferred.
