Labor Room Nurse

• Provide continuous, vigilant monitoring of laboring patients and their fetuses, promptly identifying and responding to any signs of distress or complications. • Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management interventions as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and timely delivery to support patient comfort and labor progress. • Educate and support expectant parents throughout the labor and delivery process, offering clear explanations, emotional encouragement, and practical guidance. • Assist physicians and midwives with various procedures, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and episiotomies, maintaining a sterile field and anticipating needs. • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience. • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP certification highly desirable. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in labor and delivery, high-risk obstetrics, or a related critical care setting.
