Job description
• Prepare tender documents and estimations
• Execute technical, planning, construction documents
• Coordinate with team members and Client
• Earn Value Management; cost controlling, P&Ls for projects
• Organize, execute, and follow-up assigned projects in Crane Tracks following quality standards and company guidelines
• Prepare quotations at Tender Stage with other departments
• Assess technical feasibility of projects
• Plan feasibility for production, purchase, shipment and installation
• Allocate initial resources (manpower and machinery)
• Ensure financial compliancy with contract clauses, timelines and conditions
• Control costs and project P&Ls
• Develop and follow-up each project lifecycle phase: Tender Phase, Pre-Execution Phase, Execution Phase, Project Close-Up
• Follow site activities jointly with Installation Manager and report to Project Manager
• Monitor project costs against budget and progress daily
• Control and approve economic and financial aspects of projects
• Approve all project-related costs including suppliers' quotes and sub-contractors' payments
• Prepare payment requests to client with Financial Dept and other teams
• Report bi-monthly on economic and financial status to Project Manager
• Follow and enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies
• Ensure project activities comply with HSE standards
• Maintain high quality standards by maintaining relevant records and following protocols
• Perform other tasks as assigned and trained if needed
• Good knowledge of steel-related construction market and technical aspects of steel industry
• Knowledge of crane track industry is an asset
• Fluent in English; Arabic and/or French is a plus
• Good knowledge of Office Package including Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of AutoCad 2D/3D or equivalent
• Familiarity with other technical or management software is an asset
• Correct, trustful, proactive, team-work oriented, able to respect deadlines
• Willingness to travel approx. 3 days every month
• Educational or proven experience beyond degree is considered an asset
• Experience managing projects valued over 100M USD
• Technical understanding of materials used in civil/mechanical fields
