Junior Facility Engineer - Mechanical

We are looking for a proactive and motivated **Junior Facility Engineer – Mechanical** to support the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within commercial, residential, hospitality, or industrial facilities. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring all mechanical assets are maintained efficiently, safely, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in the operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, and water supply systems. * Support the planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. * Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment and identify maintenance requirements. * Coordinate and supervise technicians to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on time. * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns. * Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records. * Ensure adequate availability of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials. * Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors for maintenance\-related activities. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality standards. * Assist in energy conservation initiatives and cost optimization of facility operations. * Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues. * Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory regulations and client specifications. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * **2–4 years** of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or MEP maintenance. * Good knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, firefighting systems, pumps, and other building services. * Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Good communication, coordination, and report\-writing skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance activities. * Locally available in Qatar. * Immediate joiners are preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, malls, or high\-rise facilities. * Valid Qatar Driving License is an added advantage. * Knowledge of local authority regulations and facility management best practices. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills.
