Junior Chef

**Job Overview:** Line Cook is responsible for pre\-preparation (***Mise en place)***, station set up, preparation and service to order of menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner service that will be cooked as ordered by a customer. The Line Cook completes the assigned meal production schedule. **Duties and Responsibilities** · Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies · Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) · Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. · Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions · Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. · Stock inventory appropriately · Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. · Follow HACCP procedures and practices · Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. · Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs · Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers **You will be required to mark your daily attendance through designated Biometric machines, failing to mark your attendance on biometric machines will be considered as absent and will lead to salary deduction** **Skills** · Basic written and verbal communication skills · Organizational skills · Accuracy and speed in executing tasks · Ability to work as a team member · Follows directions and instructions Pay: QAR1,500\.00 \- QAR2,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
