Junior Accountant

**Key Responsibilities** * Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system. * Prepare and process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries. * Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. * Maintain organized records of invoices, purchase orders, payment certificates, and supporting documents. * Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, petty cash, and company accounts. * Follow up on outstanding payments, receivables, and required supporting documents. * Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account reconciliations. * Support the preparation of payroll records and employee\-related payments when required. * Coordinate with project teams, procurement staff, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding invoices and payments. * Assist with project cost tracking and allocation of expenses to the appropriate projects and cost codes. * Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing the necessary records and documentation. * Ensure compliance with the company’s accounting procedures and financial controls. * Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager or management. **Qualifications and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience may apply. * Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic. * Previous experience in a construction or contracting company is an advantage but not mandatory. * Must be currently residing in Kuwait. * Transferable residency is required.
