Interior Design Manager

About the Role Decorwise is seeking an experienced Interior Design Manager to lead the execution of commercial and retail interior design projects from concept development through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design activities, managing project execution, supervising site progress, and ensuring that projects are delivered according to approved designs, quality standards, budgets, and timelines. This role requires a strong combination of **interior design expertise, project management skills, site coordination, and team leadership**. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal design teams to resolve issues and keep projects moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the execution of commercial and retail interior design projects. * Coordinate design development, technical drawings, material selections, and project documentation. * Review drawings and design details to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with project requirements. * Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders. * Monitor site progress and ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. * Conduct regular site inspections and identify design, quality, or execution issues. * Resolve site\-related design and coordination problems in a timely manner. * Manage project schedules, deliverables, and priorities to meet agreed deadlines. * Review material samples, finishes, shop drawings, and mock\-ups where required. * Ensure the finished work meets the intended design, quality standards, and client expectations. * Lead and coordinate interior designers and other project team members. * Communicate project updates, risks, changes, and required actions to management and clients. * Assist with project cost control and monitor design\-related variations. * Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure materials and finishes are available when required. * Maintain organized project documentation, drawings, approvals, and revisions. * Ensure compliance with relevant building, safety, and project requirements. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or diploma in **Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field**. * **5\+ years of professional experience** in interior design, with significant experience in commercial or retail projects. * Previous experience managing or coordinating interior design projects from design development through site execution. * Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, finishes, joinery, and detailing. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** and strong working knowledge of relevant design and documentation software. * Working knowledge of **SketchUp, 3D visualization, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools** is preferred. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, MEP, and construction drawings. * Strong project coordination and site management skills. * Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients. * Strong understanding of project schedules, specifications, quality control, and execution requirements. * Excellent communication, organization, and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail and a practical understanding of how designs are translated into built environments. * Professional proficiency in **English**; Arabic communication skills would be an advantage. * Ability to work on\-site and travel to project locations when required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with **retail stores, commercial spaces, showrooms, offices, or similar fit\-out projects**. * Previous experience in an Interior Design Manager, Senior Interior Designer, Design Coordinator, or Project Manager capacity. * Familiarity with local construction practices and authority requirements in Kuwait. * Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals. * Strong portfolio demonstrating completed commercial or retail interior projects. الراتب المدفوع: KWD١٬٣٠٠٫٠٠٠ لكل شهر موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
