Infrastructure Asset & Configuration Specialist

Responsible for establishing, governing, and maintaining the Digital Infrastructure Asset and Configuration Management practice across the organisation. The role ensures accurate control of infrastructure hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, maintains a reliable and up\-to\-date Configuration Management Database (CMDB), oversees software licensing and subscription compliance, manages vendor support contracts and renewals, and drives capacity planning to ensure infrastructure readiness for future business demands. The specialist will ensure compliance with ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, vendor licensing agreements, and internal governance requirements while supporting operational excellence, audit readiness, financial optimization, and informed decision\-making through accurate infrastructure asset intelligence. **Educational Qualifications and Certifications** **Minimum:** * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related. * ITIL Foundation preferred. * 5\-7 years in Infrastructure Asset, SAM or CMDB. **Preferred:** * ISO 20000 Foundation * ServiceNow CMDB Administration * ServiceNow SAM * Microsoft Licensing Fundamentals * VMware VCP * Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) **Work Experience** * 5–7 years of experience in Infrastructure Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Configuration Management, or IT Infrastructure Operations. * Experience managing enterprise infrastructure assets in medium or large organizations. * Strong understanding of software licensing models for major enterprise vendors. * Experience with CMDB governance and configuration management. * Experience supporting ISO audits and IT governance initiatives. * Experience working with procurement, vendor management, and contract administration. * Experience with infrastructure capacity planning and lifecycle management. **Skills:** CMDB Governance , Software Asset Management , Licensing Compliance
