HVAC Draftsman

• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings, layouts, sections, and installation drawings for interior fit-out projects. • Develop HVAC ducting layouts, chilled water piping layouts, refrigerant piping layouts, ventilation, fresh air, and exhaust system drawings. • Prepare coordinated MEP drawings, ensuring proper integration of HVAC systems with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ceiling, and architectural layouts. • Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify potential clashes and coordination issues. • Incorporate engineers' comments, consultant feedback, and site modifications into drawings. • Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installation and approved modifications. • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, approved design standards, and applicable UAE requirements. • Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and other drafting teams to ensure timely drawing submissions. • Prepare sections, details, schedules, and technical drawings required for project execution. • Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and submission records. • Support site teams by providing revised drawings and resolving technical drafting-related queries. • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely completion of all assigned drawings. • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory. • 3–6 years of relevant experience in the UAE. • Previous experience in interior fit-out MEP projects is mandatory . • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with the ability to independently prepare detailed HVAC drawings. • Good understanding of HVAC systems, including: • HVAC ducting layouts and duct sizing. • Chilled water and refrigerant piping layouts. • Fresh air and exhaust ventilation systems. • HVAC equipment layouts and installation details. • Diffuser, grille, and air terminal layouts. • Experience preparing HVAC shop drawings, coordinated MEP drawings, and as-built drawings. • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. • Good understanding of MEP coordination and ceiling/interior fit-out requirements. • Knowledge of UAE fit-out project documentation and drawing submission procedures. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and drawing presentation. • Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines. • Good communication and coordination skills.
