HSE Officer

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures in accordance with project requirements and applicable UAE safety regulations. • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe practices, and potential workplace hazards. • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during ongoing operations and activities within live mall environments. • Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of appropriate control measures for identified hazards. • Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with approved HSE procedures and safety standards. • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for employees, contractors, and site personnel. • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. • Ensure appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site safety requirements. • Monitor high-risk activities and ensure the implementation of relevant safety precautions and control measures. • Maintain HSE documentation, including inspection reports, risk assessments, incident reports, training records, and safety checklists. • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and management to address safety concerns and ensure timely closure of observations. • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure that employees and contractors follow established HSE procedures. • Support compliance with applicable authority requirements and HSE approval processes. • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or science-related discipline. • Candidates must possess any ONE of the following academic qualifications: • 3-year full-time Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering. • 4-year Engineering Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or HSE. • Bachelor's Degree with a Science and Mathematics background. • NEBOSH IGC is mandatory for qualifications obtained before 2020. • NEBOSH Diploma is preferred. • Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in live mall operations . • ADOSH/OSHAD approval or relevant approval status is preferred. • Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention. • Experience conducting safety inspections, monitoring contractor compliance, and maintaining HSE documentation. • Ability to identify safety risks and recommend practical corrective and preventive measures. • Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in an active operational environment and coordinate with multiple contractors. • Immediate joiners will be given preference.
