Job description

Ensure that the safety plans shall be in compliance with corporate policy and prevailing safety requirements for the region. What You'll Be Doing: • Implement corporate HSE Policy, HSE plan and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance, HSE targets and suggest measures for further improvement. • Make sure that client s safety requirements are being full filled. • Liaise with safety manager and contractors for the improvement & implementation of corporate HSE management ethics. • Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safety measures at site to full fill Legal and client requirements. • Review Site safety Plan, Emergency plan, and other safety related plans submitted by the contractor. • Review Method Statement and risk analysis for all activities and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures. • Carry out HSE inspections and report to resident engineer for immediate rectification. • Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections / reports. • Conducting monthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve the outstanding issues, prepare / submit the minutes to all concern to follow-up. • Review emergency preparedness and response, permit to work system, Toolbox Talks, HSE statistics & records of the contractors according to company requirement. • Review incident/accident investigation reports from contractors, reporting & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize / prevent from re-occurrence. Bachelor s in any Construction related Engineering Degree or Occupational safety and health. Minimum 10 + years experience as Safety Engineer infrastructure projects in UAE preferably 3 years in Airport projects. With recognized Health and Safety certifications, license or training in UAE (e.g. ISO, NEBOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc). Must be able to attend in-persons interviews. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Working knowledge of Federal Laws, Technical Guidelines., Sharjah emirates regulations
