About the Role Guildhall is running this search for a major international EPC main contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the GCC. The business is mobilising its HSSE function for a multi-year superstructure package at a large infrastructure development in the UAE. Two seats are open now, with immediate joiners preferred, as the project ramps through its structural phase. It is a rare chance to run safety on a live, large-scale construction project with high visibility. The role • Lead HSSE strategy and delivery for a major superstructure construction package. • Own risk management for lifting, formwork, concrete works, scaffolding and work at height. • Act as principal HSSE contact for the client and consultant teams. • Lead and manage a large project HSSE team and subcontractor compliance. • Investigate incidents, close NCRs, and drive continuous HSSE improvement. • Prepare HSSE reports, audits and emergency response plans for senior management. What you'll bring • 12-15+ years of HSSE experience in construction or engineering. • At least 5 years in a senior HSSE management role. • Previous UAE or GCC construction project experience. • NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent recognised HSSE qualification. • Experience managing HSSE on major structural or infrastructure projects. • Track record leading large HSSE teams and multiple subcontractors.
