Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for an experienced **Housekeeping Manager** to join a 5\-star luxury/lifestyle hotel in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Housekeeping Department and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort in line with **Hilton brand standards**. For a new hotel opening, the Housekeeping Manager will play an important role in preparing the department for launch, including recruitment, training, SOP development, room inspections, inventory setup, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities * Manage the daily Housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and back\-of\-house areas. * Ensure all rooms are cleaned and inspected to 5\-star and Hilton standards. * Lead, motivate, and manage the Housekeeping team. * Recruit and train Housekeeping colleagues for the hotel opening. * Develop and implement Housekeeping SOPs, checklists, and procedures. * Conduct regular room and public area inspections. * Monitor room attendant productivity and quality of work. * Ensure VIP rooms, suites, and special requests receive appropriate attention. * Coordinate closely with Front Office to manage room status and priorities. * Work with Engineering to follow up on room defects and maintenance issues. * Support pre\-opening activities, room inspections, snagging, and operational testing. * Manage linen, uniforms, guest amenities, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping inventory. * Maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize wastage and losses. * Monitor housekeeping costs, payroll, overtime, and productivity. * Ensure compliance with Hilton quality and brand standards. * Monitor guest feedback and take corrective action when required. * Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, HR, Procurement, Finance, Security, and other departments. * Support hotel sustainability and cost\-saving initiatives. * Prepare the Housekeeping team for quality inspections and audits. Requirements * Minimum **5–7 years of Housekeeping experience** in 5\-star hotels. * Previous experience as a **Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Executive Housekeeper**. * **Hilton experience is required/preferred.** * Previous **hotel pre\-opening experience** is highly preferred. * Experience managing a large hotel and sizeable Housekeeping team. * Strong knowledge of luxury hotel housekeeping and cleanliness standards. * Good knowledge of room inspection and quality control procedures. * Strong leadership and people\-management skills. * Excellent organizational and planning abilities. * Good knowledge of inventory and cost control. * Strong communication and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during hotel opening and busy periods. * **UAE/GCC hotel experience is an advantage.** Ideal Candidate We are looking for a hands\-on and organized Housekeeping leader who can build a strong team, maintain excellent cleanliness and presentation standards, and successfully prepare the department for a new hotel opening. **Candidates with strong Hilton experience and 5\-star luxury hotel experience are highly encouraged to apply.** Work Location: In person
