Job description

To strategically lead procurement, sourcing, vendor governance, and contract management for the organization, ensuring cost optimization, regulatory compliance within GCC markets, supply continuity, and commercial risk mitigation in alignment with dealership operational objectives. Strategic Thinking • Develops a long-term sourcing strategy • Aligns procurement with dealership growth plans • Anticipates supply chain risks (OEM, shipping, customs) Commercial Acumen • Drives cost reduction initiatives • Negotiates high-value agreements • Understands pricing models of OEMs/suppliers from different countries and regions. (wherever applicable) Risk Management • Identifies contractual, financial, and supply risks • Designs mitigation frameworks • Oversees compliance audits Decision Making • Takes independent commercial decisions within DOA • Balances cost vs. operational urgency Procurement & Sourcing Management • Global and local vendor sourcing • Tendering process management • RFQ/RFP structuring • Price benchmarking across GCC Contract Management & Governance • Drafting and negotiation of: • Service contracts • AMC agreements • Lease agreements • Fleet procurement contracts • SLA monitoring and enforcement • Claims & dispute resolution Financial & Analytical Competency • Budget preparation and monitoring • Spend analysis & cost modelling • Working capital optimization • Inventory turnover analysis Automotive Supply Chain Knowledge • Spare parts lifecycle management • Fast/slow-moving parts classification • Dead stock reduction strategies • Import documentation & customs regulations in GCC Problem-Solving Complexity • Manages multi-million procurement portfolio • Resolves supplier disputes with financial and legal impact • Balances OEM constraints with dealership profitability • Budget ownership: Departmental & category-based • Procurement signatory authority: As per DOA (Senior Management band) • Direct cost impact: High • Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory) • MBA / CIPS preferred • 15–20 years total experience • Minimum 5 years in senior procurement leadership role within GCC Experience in automotive dealership groups highly preferable
