Company overview: Pentabell is seeking a skilled Head of GIS / Asset Data & GIS Lead, for one of its clients. This role involves leading the integration and management of geographic information systems (GIS) and asset data to support business operations in Oman. Position: Head of GIS / Asset Data & GIS Lead Summary: Leading the GIS and asset data initiatives for a client in Oman. Responsibilities: Oversee the development and implementation of GIS strategies to support business objectives. Manage the integration of various asset data systems into a unified platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and utilization. Develop and maintain robust GIS databases for efficient data management. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to GIS team members. Requirements: Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS and asset data management. Strong knowledge of GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) Experience with asset management systems and databases Proficient in spatial analysis and data visualization techniques Excellent project management skills Ability to lead and mentor a team
