Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee To support the Operations Manager in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports and assist the Underwriting Team with a variety of reporting requests. **Head of Finance and Operations** **Role Highlights** * Dubai based role with Hybrid working * A varied and impactful role combining reporting, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to support underwriting performance and informed business decision\-making. **The Opportunity** This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and data\-driven team where you will play a key role in delivering high\-quality reporting and insight to support underwriting and claims operations. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders across the business, producing regular and ad hoc analysis that informs strategic decisions and drives performance. The role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, including contributions to regulatory and Executive\-level reporting, alongside the chance to influence processes, enhance data quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives. As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind. **Your New Role** * Contribute to the development and delivery of operational team plans, ensuring key priorities are addressed. * Manage and prioritise own workload to achieve individual and team objectives. * Produce accurate weekly and monthly reports for underwriting and claims teams, meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations. * Prepare monthly reporting packs to support underwriting meetings and business reviews. * Deliver data submissions to Lloyd’s and the Executive Board, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting decision\-making. * Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient workflows. * Represent the team in relevant IT forums, ensuring business requirements are captured and delivered. * Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to produce actionable exception reporting and insights. * Ensure data quality and integrity across systems to enable accurate reporting and analysis. * Provide ad hoc analysis, presentations, and support, while contributing to team development and knowledge sharing. **About You** * Strong finance expertise within the insurance or reinsurance sector, with experience delivering regulatory and management reporting. * Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, develop and motivate teams while maintaining a hands\-on approach when needed. * Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency, including the use of systems, data enhancements or automation. * Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations and underwriting teams. * Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret data, identify insights and support business planning and decision\-making. * A proactive and adaptable approach, comfortable operating in a fast\-paced, growing environment with evolving priorities. **Benefits** We offer a range of benefits to help provide holistic support for your work life, whatever your circumstances.
