Consistently follow the established Cycle of Service to ensure excellent guest experiences. Lead, mentor, and motivate the bar team to consistently deliver high-quality service and maintain positive morale. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to ensure optimal par levels and minimize waste. Monitor compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with the Bar Manager to develop new cocktails and update beverage menus in line with current trends and guest preferences. Resolve escalated guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively to maintain guest satisfaction and uphold the establishment s reputation. Prepare beverages accurately according to recipes and company standards. Assess guests needs and preferences, offering tailored recommendations and maintaining a guest-focused, welcoming atmosphere at all times. Serve food and drinks professionally and courteously, always adhering to high standards. Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items and confidently describe them to guests. Keep the bar counter clean and well-maintained to ensure guests feel comfortable and welcome. Accurately charge customers, promptly present bills, and handle payments in line with established procedures. Promptly refer guest concerns to the Bar Manager or General Manager, ensuring each is resolved with Wynn s signature personalized service. Set up the bar each day according to standard procedures and par levels. Clean all designated areas following daily routines and hygiene protocols, both morning and evening. Promptly report any suspicious packages or items to management. Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by management.
Minimum educational qualification: completion of secondary school; higher academic credentials are an asset. Minimum age requirement is 21 years due to gaming operations and regulatory standards. Minimum of 2 3 years of bartending experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality venue. Proven leadership experience in managing bar teams and coordinating service operations. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage trends. Demonstrated ability to oversee bar inventory, par levels, and ordering procedures efficiently. Skilled in maintaining bar presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Excellent customer service focus and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments. Proficient in POS systems and handling cash or card transactions. Formal bartending certification or relevant hospitality training is preferred. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are an asset. Flexible with work schedules and able to lead shifts based on business needs. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
