Google SecOps Security Engineer Associate Manager

About the Role We are looking for a Google SecOps Security Engineer to implement, operate, and optimize Google SecOps SIEM capabilities to strengthen security monitoring, detection engineering, investigation, and incident response. Key Responsibilities • Configure and optimize Google SecOps SIEM. • Onboard and validate log sources. • Develop and tune detection rules, correlation logic, dashboards, searches, and use cases. • Analyze incidents. • Identify monitoring gaps. • Maintain operational documentation and reporting. Key Technologies: Google SecOps SIEM, Google Security Operations, YARA-L, Unified Data Model, log-source integrations, detection rules, dashboards, threat intelligence, security monitoring and investigation capabilities. Key Skills: Google SecOps SIEM, Google Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Security Monitoring, Log Onboarding, Parsing and Normalization, UDM, YARA-L, Threat Hunting, Incident Investigation, Dashboard Development, Detection Tuning • Saudi Nationals Only. • At least 5 years of experience in security monitoring, detection engineering, incident investigation, or SIEM engineering, including direct experience with Google SecOps or comparable enterprise SIEM platforms. • Direct experience developing security use cases, onboarding log sources, tuning detection rules, investigating alerts, and improving security-monitoring coverage within Google SecOps. • Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
