General Manager – Quarry & Crushing Operations

Al Barrak Crushers is seeking an experienced General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across quarrying, crushing, maintenance, sales, logistics, finance, and administration. The successful candidate will lead safe and efficient operations, strengthen equipment reliability, control costs, and drive profitable business growth. Summary of responsibilities • Develop and execute business strategy, annual operating plans, and growth initiatives. • Manage quarry and crushing operations, production planning, plant utilization, and productivity. • Improve preventive maintenance, equipment availability and fleet performance while reducing unplanned downtime. • Manage budgets, cost per ton, profitability, working capital, and cash flow. • Develop customers, achieve sales targets, negotiate agreements, and improve receivables collection. • Oversee logistics and coordinate production with customer requirements. • Ensure HSE, environmental and regulatory compliance. • Lead recruitment, workforce planning, training, performance management, and succession planning. • Present operational and financial results, risks, and investment recommendations to the Board. • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mining, Civil or Industrial Engineering. • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in quarrying, crushing, mining, cement and aggregates. • Proven responsibility for production, maintenance, and profitability. • Strong knowledge of quarry/crusher operations, preventive maintenance, production planning, budgeting, and cost control. • Strong commercial negotiation, team leadership, ERP, and management-reporting skills. • MBA and/or Operations Management or Project Management certification preferred.
