Job Overview
Marmara Metal Refinery FZE is seeking an experienced Foundry Operator to join our precious metals production team. The successful candidate will Operate induction melting furnaces for precious metals, perform accurate melting and casting of gold and silver into bars and granules, operate vacuum casting/bar production equipment, monitor process parameters, and ensure production quality and safety standards are maintained. Previous experience in a precious metals foundry is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate induction melting furnaces for gold and silver production.
* Perform melting, alloying, casting, and pouring operations.
* Operate vacuum casting and bar production equipment.
* Monitor furnace temperatures and production parameters.
* Produce gold and silver bars, granules, and cast products according to specifications.
* Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements.
* Ensure accurate production records are maintained.
* Follow refinery safety procedures and quality control standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized production area.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a precious metals refinery or foundry is required.
* Experience operating induction furnaces and casting equipment.
* Good understanding of precious metals production processes.
* Ability to read production instructions and follow SOPs.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work rotating shifts when required.
