We are seeking a qualified and experienced Food Safety Officer to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards across our branches and food production operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards across all branches and food production areas. * Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, preparation areas, storage facilities, refrigerators, and other food\-handling areas. * Ensure proper food receiving, storage, preparation, handling, and serving procedures are followed. * Monitor food temperatures, storage conditions, expiry dates, labeling, and product rotation. * Conduct regular food safety and hygiene inspections and prepare detailed reports. * Identify food safety risks and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. * Monitor employee personal hygiene and compliance with food\-handling requirements. * Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed across branches. * Monitor pest control, waste management, and general sanitation practices. * Investigate food safety incidents and assist management in implementing corrective measures. * Provide food safety and hygiene training to employees and new staff. * Maintain food safety records, inspection checklists, training records, and related documentation. * Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi food safety regulations and relevant municipal requirements. * Coordinate with branch managers, kitchen teams, and management to resolve food safety issues. * Support the continuous improvement of food safety procedures and standards across Blumen Café \& Sweets. **Qualifications and Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Safety, Food Technology, Microbiology, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in food safety, quality control, or a similar position, preferably within cafés, restaurants, catering, central kitchens, or food production facilities. * Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and food\-handling practices. * Good understanding of HACCP principles and food safety management systems. * Knowledge of Saudi food safety regulations and requirements. * Relevant certifications such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or ServSafe are an advantage. * Strong inspection, reporting, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication and training skills. * Ability to visit and inspect multiple branches when required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Good command of Arabic and English. * Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with branch and kitchen management. **Key Competencies** * Strong attention to detail. * High level of responsibility and professionalism. * Excellent organizational and time\-management skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to identify food safety risks and take appropriate corrective action. * Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer safety. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package. * Professional and collaborative working environment. * Career growth and development opportunities. * Opportunity to work with a growing specialty café and sweets company. * Opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of food safety standards across multiple branches. **Application Process** Qualified candidates who meet the above requirements are invited to submit their CV for consideration.
