### **General Information** Ref \# 235427 Location Qatar\-Doha Job family Corporate \& Commercial * Closing Date: 2026\-08\-24 ### **Description** **Job Purpose:** Responsible for day\-to\-day operations and evolution of all Finance Academy training in Qatar Airways. In collaboration with GL\&D Responsible for the design, delivery, management and continuous improvement of exceptional training across the Finance Division ensuring all facets curriculum development, content creation, training assessment and relevance, are delivered and are fully aligned to departmental and company goals, objectives and values. Ensures that the Finance Learning Specialists are equipped with the required knowledge, behavior and skills to support the business in achieving its objectives. Ensure monitoring and tracking of training adoption and benefits. **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Identifying training needs, plan and propose developmental program for QR Finance Academy. * Create a strong relationship with the stakeholder, customers and teams within organization to understand the learning gaps within the business. * Initiate new training and curricula based on prior experience and needs analysis. * Develop plans and proposes long term training program for the Finance Division under CFO Management. * Responsibility for all aspects of the training cycle of the Business Finance Academy, from assessment of needs, development and delivery through evaluation. * Devise learning plans, producing training materials for in\-house courses, managing delivery of training and development programmes and training strategy for the Finance Division. * Ensure that learning programs are aligned to business requirements by regularly meeting with key stakeholders, contributing to the departmental learning needs analysis (as per project team timeframes), and conducting additional analysis as required. * Manage effectiveness and efficiency of learning by converting or creating additional material as deemed necessary. * Ensure authorized and certified training is delivered by the team to the highest standard and that the training reflects the guidance and direction of senior leadership. * Manage and create training and development programmes based on divisional and functional needs. * Integrate learning tools in liaison with Digital team. * Continuously keep abreast of training program and proceeds with necessary improvements. * Manage Finance Academy in the respective platforms to ensure all training courses are uploaded, confirmed, completed and records are maintained and recorded accurately. * Manage design and development pathways and supporting curriculum which is based on best practice learning and development methodology. * Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department **Be part of an extraordinary story:** Your skills. You have the chance to be a part of our future, and build the life you want while being part of an international community. ### **Qualification** **About You:** * Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job\-related experience * Qatari nationals – Bachelor’s degree with minimum 1\-2 yrs of job\-related experience * Management role in training environment, preferably with airline or any aviation field related experience * Specialist in the role of aviation finance training * Experience in managing training in a multi\-cultural environment * Command of English language * Managerial skills \- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members * Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate a team towards outstanding results Preferred: * Management level experience in a multicultural work environment * A formal accreditation in training * Hands on operational experience in Finance role **About Qatar Airways Group:** Our story started with four aircraft.
