Senior Finance Functional Consultant – Odoo ERP (Manufacturing)

Job Title: Senior Finance Functional Consultant – Odoo ERP (Manufacturing) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Finance Functional Consultant to support the successful delivery of an ongoing Odoo ERP implementation for a manufacturing company. Business requirements have already been completed. The consultant's responsibility is to review the implementation, work closely with developers, validate all finance-related processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards and manufacturing best practices, coordinate testing, and ensure the project is successfully completed and handed over. This is not a bookkeeping or operational accounting role . Key Responsibilities • Review existing business and functional requirements. • Validate all finance-related configurations and custom developments in Odoo. • Work closely with developers to clarify functional requirements and ensure correct implementation. • Identify functional gaps and recommend solutions based on Odoo best practices. • Ensure seamless integration between Accounting, Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and other related modules. • Validate product costing, inventory valuation, WIP, landed cost, manufacturing transactions, and financial postings. • Ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, and manufacturing finance best practices. • Review financial reports, workflows, and approval processes. • Prepare and execute Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Track issues and ensure timely resolution before go-live. • Support go-live, stabilization, and final project handover. • Prepare implementation documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the client. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA is highly preferred. • Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance or Manufacturing Finance. • Minimum 3 years of experience as an ERP Finance Functional Consultant. • Experience in manufacturing ERP implementations is mandatory. • Experience with Odoo ERP is preferred. Success Criteria • All finance-related requirements are fully implemented. • Compliance with accounting standards and manufacturing best practices. • Successful completion of UAT with no critical issues. • Smooth integration between all Odoo modules. • Successful go-live and stabilization. • Complete documentation, knowledge transfer, and client handover.
