Field Operator

Field Operator Job Purpose: To Perform Field Operations, so to maximize its availability in a cost effective and sustainable manner. Operations: • Assist the Operation Team in monitoring the Plant operations of all equipment and machines • Assist the Operation Team to have Safe and Reliable Field Operation • Coordinating for all Area Planned and corrective Maintenance works with other teams so to have safe job execution in Area • Assist the Operations Department in development of Standard Operating and work Procedures • Involvement and support at other technical activities relating to the plant as and when required • Support and guide newly joining team members with specific Area technical guidance • Facilitate team development activities and ensure a safe and sound work culture within the Operations Department. Communication and Working Relationships Internal • Shift In charge • Control Room Operator • Trainees within the operations unit • Other employees within the department • Other Departments (If required) External • Vendors • Consultants, as required • Other Parties , as required Knowledge and Skills - Functional • Power sector understanding • Organizational Health and Safety Management • IT knowledge • Operation and Maintenance of CCGT Power Plant Main and associated Equipment • SAP System • PI System Adequate Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) Behavioral • Analytical Thinking & problem solving skills • Attention for detail • Decision Making ability • Effective Team Member • Co-ordination skills and Communication skills • Analytical Thinking • Self Driven • Computer literate • Team Work Qualification- 3 year-Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Equivalent Engineering Experience - Minimum of 5 -7 years experience with adequate exposure in CCGT Power Plant.
