**OVERVIEW** **Position** Fashion Designer (Women's Wear) **Department** Design / Production **Reports to** Creative Director / Brand Manager **Location** Bahrain **About Company \& Role Purpose** A high\-end women's clothing brand based in Bahrain, celebrated for its signature red\-carpet gowns and luxury designs, is seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join the team. This role involves developing original designs for Abayas, Jalabiyas, Evening Wear, and Ready\-to\-Wear collections, while overseeing the sampling process and coordinating with the production team. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES** **General** · Develop original and inspired designs for Abayas, Jalabiyas, Evening Wear, and Ready\-to\-Wear collections. · Create detailed technical sketches and comprehensive "tech packs" for production. · Oversee the sampling process and coordinate with tailors and pattern makers to ensure design accuracy. · Select appropriate fabrics, embellishments, beading, and embroidery to enhance designs. · Research trends, fabrics, and techniques to keep collections fresh and competitive. · Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and timely delivery of collections. · Ensure all designs align with the brand's aesthetic, quality standards, and customer expectations. · Maintain organized design files, fabric swatches, and sample records. · Provide technical support to tailors and production staff during the manufacturing process. **BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** **Qualifications** · 2–5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, with GCC experience required. · Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skill, and a clear design aesthetic. · Knowledge of garment construction and luxury finishing techniques. · Experience designing Abayas, Jalabiyas, Evening Wear, or Ready\-to\-Wear. · Familiarity with fabric selection, embellishments, beading, and embroidery. · Open to any nationality. · Male candidates only (as per client requirement). **Skills** · Ability to create detailed technical sketches and tech packs. · Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). · Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and Windows. · Passion for fashion and luxury design. · Strong attention to detail and creative flair. · Ability to coordinate with tailors, pattern makers, and production teams.
