Position Fashion Designer (Women's Wear) Department Fashion Reports to As per company structure Location Riffa, Bahrain About Company \& Role Purpose: Our client is a luxury Bahrain\-based fashion house renowned for its elegant couture, evening wear, and contemporary women's designs. The brand is recognized internationally for creating sophisticated pieces that combine exceptional craftsmanship with modern luxury aesthetics, with its designs having been worn by international celebrities and featured on global red carpets. The Fashion Designer will play a key role in developing innovative women's collections while maintaining the brand's premium quality and distinctive design identity. This position is ideal for a creative designer with strong technical expertise, excellent garment construction knowledge, and a passion for luxury fashion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES General **Develop original and commercially appealing designs for Abayas, Jalabiyas, Evening Wear, and Ready\-to\-Wear collections.** Research fashion trends, colours, fabrics, and silhouettes to create seasonal collections aligned with the brand vision. **Produce detailed technical sketches, illustrations, and complete technical packs (Tech Packs) for production.** * Create mood boards, colour palettes, fabric stories, and design concepts for new collections. * **Select suitable fabrics, trims, embellishments, embroidery, beading, lace, and other luxury finishing materials.** * Work closely with pattern makers, sample tailors, and production teams throughout the sampling and development process. * **Review prototypes and fittings, making design adjustments to achieve the desired fit, quality, and finish.** * Ensure garments meet the company's luxury standards for craftsmanship and attention to detail. * **Coordinate with suppliers when sourcing fabrics, accessories, and embellishments.** Maintain organized design documentation, specifications, and collection records. * **Support collection launches and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of new designs.** * **BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE Experience \& Skills** Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related discipline is preferred. **2–5 years of professional fashion design experience, preferably within luxury women's wear.** * GCC fashion industry experience is highly preferred.
