Facility Inspector

### **Job Purpose:** * To inspect, evaluate, and monitor the condition and performance of building facilities and systems to ensure proper functionality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and maintenance procedures. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct regular inspections of building structures, MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems), and external areas. * Identify maintenance needs, defects, and safety hazards, and report them promptly. * Verify that maintenance and repair works are executed according to approved standards and specifications. * Prepare inspection reports and document findings with photos and recommendations. * Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of maintenance issues. * Support preventive maintenance programs and assist in scheduling inspections. * Monitor contractors’ performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * Participate in handover inspections for new or renovated facilities. ### **Qualifications and Skills:** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services). * Experience in facility inspection, maintenance supervision, or related field. * Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and inspection standards. * Good understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance principles. * Proficient in using inspection checklists, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office. * Excellent attention to detail, communication, and report\-writing skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection sites.
