**Job Summary** The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for road construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role involves reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take\-offs, obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluating project risks, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project teams to prepare technically compliant and commercially competitive bids. **Key Responsibilities** * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions. * Prepare detailed cost estimates for road construction, highways, asphalt paving, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and associated infrastructure works. * Perform quantity take\-offs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other estimation software. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare detailed pricing breakdowns, resource planning, and cost analysis. * Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Planning, and Project teams during bid preparation. * Analyze labor, equipment, material, subcontract, and overhead costs. * Conduct site visits when required to assess project conditions and potential risks. * Prepare technical and commercial clarifications for tender submissions. * Evaluate project risks and identify value engineering opportunities to optimize costs. * Maintain updated databases for material prices, labor rates, productivity norms, and subcontractor quotations. * Prepare bid summaries and present recommendations to management. * Participate in tender negotiations with clients and consultants. * Assist in post\-award handover to the project execution team. * Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and Qatar regulations. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. * Professional certification in Estimation or Quantity Surveying is an advantage. * MMUP/UPDA registration is preferred. Experience * Minimum **5–8 years** of experience in road construction and infrastructure estimation. * At least **3 years of experience in Qatar or GCC**. * Experience with: * Ashghal road projects * Highways * Asphalt works * Earthworks * Road markings * Road furniture * Utilities (Storm Water, Sewer, Potable Water, TSE) * Traffic Diversions Application Question(s): * How many years of experience do you have in road construction estimation in Qatar? * How soon you can join after selection?
