Estimation Engineer – ELV, CCTV & Gate Barrier Systems

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with experience in ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems, CCTV surveillance, and automatic gate barrier systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project requirements, preparing technical and commercial quotations, and coordinating with suppliers, project teams, and the sales department to ensure competitive and profitable project proposals. Key Responsibilities • Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements for ELV and security system projects. • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and technical and commercial quotations. • Estimate costs for CCTV surveillance systems, access control, structured cabling, intercom, and other ELV systems. • Prepare estimates for automatic gate barriers, boom barriers, vehicle access control, parking management, and related accessories. • Calculate material quantities, equipment costs, labour costs, installation charges, testing, commissioning, and other project expenses. • Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. • Coordinate with vendors to confirm product specifications, availability, delivery schedules, and pricing. • Select suitable equipment and materials in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. • Conduct site visits and assess installation requirements whenever necessary. • Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, scope-of-work documents, and cost breakdowns. • Coordinate with the sales, procurement, engineering, and project execution teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements. • Review project margins, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure estimates meet company pricing objectives. • Follow up on submitted quotations and support the sales team during technical and commercial negotiations. • Maintain an updated database of supplier prices, material costs, and estimation records. • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, IT stream,Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field. • 2–4 years of experience in Security Systems / ELV estimation. • Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, costing, quotations, and tender proposals.
