Environmental Sustainability Consultant **Company:** Siecogreen **Location:** Muscat, Muscat Governorate, Oman **Area:** Al Khuwair 33 **Salary:** OMR 1,650 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Overview Siecogreen is seeking an experienced and environmentally focused **Environmental Sustainability Consultant** to support organizations in developing and implementing sustainable practices. The successful candidate will assess environmental performance, identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact, and provide practical recommendations related to resource efficiency, waste management, energy use, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities * Conduct environmental and sustainability assessments for projects and business operations. * Develop practical sustainability strategies, programs, and improvement plans. * Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption, water usage, waste, and environmental impacts. * Support organizations in establishing environmental goals, targets, and performance indicators. * Prepare environmental assessments, sustainability reports, recommendations, and management presentations. * Monitor environmental performance and analyze relevant sustainability data. * Assist with environmental compliance reviews and ensure projects follow applicable regulations and standards. * Provide guidance on waste reduction, recycling, resource efficiency, and sustainable procurement practices. * Support carbon footprint measurement, emissions\-reduction initiatives, and climate\-related projects. * Conduct site visits, inspections, audits, and environmental reviews when required. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, facility teams, contractors, and government or regulatory stakeholders. * Research emerging environmental technologies, sustainability standards, and industry best practices. * Develop training materials and conduct sustainability awareness sessions for employees and stakeholders. * Track sustainability initiatives and prepare progress reports for management. * Assist with environmental risk identification and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Natural Resources, or a related field. * Proven experience in environmental consulting, sustainability, environmental management, or a similar role. * Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability principles, and environmental management systems. * Knowledge of waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon\-emissions reduction. * Experience with environmental assessments, audits, reporting, and sustainability metrics. * Strong analytical, research, communication, and report\-writing skills. * Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. * Familiarity with ISO 14001 or other environmental and sustainability standards is an advantage. * Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
