Environmental Engineer – Petrochemical Industry \| Qatar **Location:** Qatar **Employment Type:** Full\-Time \| Permanent About the Role We are hiring an experienced **Environmental Engineer** for one of our prestigious clients in the Petrochemical industry in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental policies, ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations, managing environmental monitoring programs, and supporting sustainable operations across the plant. Key Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and international standards. * Manage environmental permits, regulatory submissions, and renewals. * Develop and implement Environmental Management Programs and procedures. * Monitor air emissions, wastewater, noise, waste management, and pollution prevention programs. * Conduct environmental audits and compliance assessments. * Participate in HAZOP studies and Management of Change (MOC) reviews. * Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions. * Prepare environmental performance reports for management and regulatory authorities. * Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities on environmental compliance initiatives. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Process Engineering. * 5–7 years of Environmental experience in the Oil \& Gas industry. * Petrochemical industry experience is highly preferred. * ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification. * HAZMAT Level 1 certification (minimum). * Experience in environmental monitoring, waste management, wastewater treatment, and air emissions. * Knowledge of HAZOP, PFDs, P\&IDs, SAP, SharePoint, and MS Office. * Excellent English communication skills.
