ELV Supervisor

James L Williams Middle East is seeking an experienced and proactive ELV Supervisor to join our Projects team and oversee the installation and execution of Electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across major construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising site activities, leading installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, and driving compliance with company HSE, Quality, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily Electrical and ELV installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Lead and manage site teams, ensuring effective workforce allocation to meet project milestones and construction schedules. Ensure the latest approved IFC drawings, materials, and resources are available for smooth project execution. Monitor installation quality in accordance with project Quality Assurance Plans and company standards. Prepare daily manpower allocation and site progress reports, highlighting completed works, outstanding activities, and project constraints. Coordinate with Engineers, Construction Managers, QA/QC teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of site activities. Monitor workforce productivity and provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to site personnel. Ensure all testing and inspections are completed in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and client requirements. Maintain red-line markups and site records to support the preparation of as-built drawings. Promote a strong culture of Health, Safety, Quality, and environmental compliance by ensuring all activities follow company HSE procedures. Support material planning, minimize wastage, and ensure tools, equipment, and resources are effectively managed throughout project execution. ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience supervising Electrical and ELV installation works within construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, ICT, Telecom, Security Systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS). Experience in continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, cold testing, and live testing activities. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and installation details. Strong leadership skills with experience managing site teams and coordinating subcontractors. Good understanding of international standards and UAE regulations related to Electrical and ELV systems. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality and safety.
