ELV Presales Engineer - Internship Oppurtunity

We are looking for a motivated **Pre\-Sales Engineer Intern** to support our sales and technical teams in preparing solutions, quotations, proposals, and technical documentation for ELV, IT, networking, security, and related technology projects. The intern will work closely with sales engineers, project teams, vendors, and customers to understand requirements and help develop suitable technical and commercial solutions. Key Responsibilities * Assist the sales team in understanding customer technical requirements. * Prepare quotations, BOQs, technical proposals, and product comparisons. * Support solution design for ELV and IT systems. * Assist in preparing system architecture, schematics, and basic technical drawings. * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for pricing, specifications, and product availability. * Review RFQs, BOQs, tender documents, and customer enquiries. * Assist in selecting suitable products and solutions based on project requirements. * Prepare datasheets, compliance statements, and technical submittals. * Maintain updated vendor price lists and product information. * Follow up internally with sales, procurement, and technical teams regarding quotations and proposals. * Participate in site visits and customer meetings when required. * Maintain proper documentation of quotations, proposals, and project\-related information. * Learn about new technologies, products, and solutions relevant to the company's business. Technologies / Solutions Exposure The intern may work with solutions including: * CCTV and Video Surveillance * Access Control * Structured Cabling * Networking and Wi\-Fi * Intercom Systems * Public Address Systems * Gate Barriers and Automation * Smart Home and Building Automation * IoT Solutions * Servers, Storage, and IT Infrastructure * UPS and Power Solutions * Software and IT Licensing * Other ELV and technology solutions Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's degree, completed or ongoing, in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field. * Basic understanding of networking, electronics, ELV, or IT systems. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Ability to understand technical specifications and product datasheets. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Strong willingness to learn. * Good attention to detail and ability to work with numbers. * Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities. * Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage. * Previous internship or project experience in ELV, IT, networking, or security systems is an advantage. Preferred Skills * Basic knowledge of IP networking, including IP addresses, switches, routers, and PoE. * Understanding of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, or similar systems. * Ability to prepare professional quotations and technical documentation. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Commercial awareness and interest in both technology and sales.
