ELV - Pre Sales Design Engineer

• Review RFQs, tender specifications, drawings, and technicians’ site survey reports. • Prepare technical designs, detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and proposals for CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, and Fiber Connectivity. • Calculate accurate installation and commissioning effort, including man-days, team composition, tools, and subcontractor requirements. • Coordinate with vendors and the procurement team to identify reliable sources and obtain competitive pricing. • Provide remote technical support to technicians and subcontractors during project delivery. • Escalate complex technical issues to manufacturers and coordinate resolution • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline. • Strong experience in ELV pre-sales, BOQ preparation, solution design, and project estimation. • Practical expertise in CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fiber Connectivity, and supporting IP networks. • Proficiency in Excel and reading technical drawings; AutoCAD knowledge preferred. • Strong communication, vendor negotiation, and remote troubleshooting skills. • GCC project experience advantageous; willingness to relocate to Oman when required.
