ELV Engineer / Technician

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems (Cat6, Cat6a, fiber optics, etc.) in commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including IP and analog cameras. • Set up and manage NVR (Network Video Recorder) systems for CCTV storage and remote monitoring. • Install and configure wireless access points (APs) to ensure optimal network performance. • Implement and maintain access control systems including biometric readers, RFID systems, magnetic locks, and control panels. • Install, program, and maintain PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm) systems. • Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, testing, and commissioning to ensure all ELV systems are operating effectively. • Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, plans, and manuals accurately. • Prepare site reports, as-built documentation, and test reports as required. • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, consultants, and team members to ensure timely project execution. • Troubleshoot and repair faults in ELV systems with minimal downtime. • Ensure compliance with UAE safety standards, Dubai authority requirements (e.g., SIRA where applicable), company policies, and client requirements. • Strong hands-on knowledge of structured cabling, CCTV/NVR, access control, wireless access points, and PAVA systems. • Ability to use testing tools and diagnostic software effectively (e.g., cable certifiers, OTDR, fusion splicers). • Familiarity with IP networks and basic network configuration is an advantage. • Knowledge of SIRA regulations in Dubai is an added advantage. • Good understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures. • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork. • Ability to work independently and efficiently in on-site environments. • Valid UAE driving license preferred. • Candidates currently in the UAE and available to join immediately will be preferred.
