Job Summary
The Electronics Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment, including audio/AV systems or irrigation electronic components, depending on the assigned position.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic faults and system malfunctions.
• Maintain public address (PA), background music, and audio-visual systems, where applicable.
• Troubleshoot audio signals, amplifiers, speakers, cabling, and control systems.
• Maintain irrigation electronic components, including soil moisture sensors, flow meters, and solenoid valve controllers, where applicable.
• Calibrate sensors and check electronic control panels.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Identify faulty components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain service records and report technical issues.
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in electronics maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, control systems, sensors, and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience with audio/AV systems or irrigation electronics, depending on the position.
• Good diagnostic, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
