Job description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in transmission line projects. The candidate will be responsible for engineering, design coordination, execution, and technical monitoring of high-voltage transmission line projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate engineering activities for overhead transmission line projects.
Review transmission line drawings, tower spotting, profile drawings, sag-tension calculations, and foundation designs.
Coordinate with design, civil, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
Monitor project execution, including tower foundation, tower erection, stringing, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, technical specifications, and statutory requirements.
Review technical documents, material specifications, BOQs, and engineering drawings.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors for technical clarifications and project updates.
Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance, quality control, and site safety procedures.
Support site inspections, testing, commissioning, and preparation of project documentation.
Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and technical deviations
Criteria : Strong understanding of overhead transmission line systems and associated engineering activities.
Experience with high-voltage transmission line projects, preferably 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV or higher.
Knowledge of tower structures, conductors, insulators, earthing, foundations, and stringing activities.
Familiarity with technical drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Experience working with EPC companies, power utilities, or transmission infrastructure organizations will be preferred.
