Job description

• IEC 61850 Configuration & Testing Siemens / ABB / GE Relay Certification SCADA & Substation Automation Cybersecurity (IEC 62351, NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443) Role & responsibilities The Substation Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, and commissioning Substation Automation Systems (SAS) in compliance with IEC 61850 and related protocols. The role covers Power System Protection, Automation & Control including SCADA, RTU, PLC, Power Monitoring Systems (PMS) and IEDs integrating these systems with utilities and OEM vendors for high-voltage substations. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Systems, Communications, or Computer Systems Engineering (Master's preferred) Certified professional courses preferred: CCNA, CCNP, MCP, MCTS, or equivalent in applications software, database/network administration, and LAN/WAN/ATM installation & configuration
