Electrical and Instrumentation- Draftsman

• Role Summary Prepare accurate engineering drawings and documents for consultancy projects under the direction of discipline engineers, in accordance with project requirements and client standards. • Develop and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD, including P&IDs, layouts, plans, isometrics, and details. • Prepare drawings from sketches, mark-ups, and engineers’ instructions. • Prepare electrical and control panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrument hook-up drawings. • Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and document control records. • Ensure compliance with project and client drafting standards. • Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to resolve drawing queries. • Check drawings for accuracy and completeness before issue. • Support updates to as-built drawings. Qualifications and Experience • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Electronics. • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in Qatar/GCC. • Experience preparing electrical panel drawings, control panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrument hook-up drawings. • Experience in an engineering consultancy firm is preferred. Technical Skills: • AutoCAD, ETAP, and INtools. • Preparation and revision of engineering drawings. • Drawing registers, revision tracking, and document control. • Accuracy, attention to detail, and multidisciplinary coordination.
