EDMS Administrator

• Job Purpose To implement, administer, maintain, and support the Engineering/Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and other engineering design applications, ensuring efficient system operations and providing technical support to end-users and power users. • Key Accountabilities A. EDMS Administration and Technical Support • Implement, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and support engineering applications, ensuring their availability and optimal performance. • Provide ongoing technical support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, resolve user queries, and guide users in effectively utilizing the EDMS platform. • Coordinate closely with the ICT Department to ensure smooth system operations and integration. • Escalate unresolved application issues to the relevant solution providers for timely resolution. • Ensure secure EDMS usage through appropriate access controls and authorization management. • Perform engineering data loading and maintain the integrity, quality, accuracy, and consistency of technical data. • Deliver training and guidance to end-users on SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) and related applications. • Provide engineering application support to other Ma'aden affiliates as required. • Manage system configurations, monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to meet current and future business requirements. B. SmartPlant Suite Administration and Troubleshooting Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the following SmartPlant applications: • SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) • SmartPlant P&ID (SP PID) • SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) • SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) C. CAD and Engineering Design Tools Support Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the following CAD and engineering design applications: • MicroStation • CAESAR II • PV Elite Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline. Minimum Experience • 5–10 years of relevant experience in EDMS implementation, administration, maintenance, and technical support. • Sound understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (MS-SQL). • Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues and resolve technical problems effectively. • Experience in identifying, coordinating, and implementing continuous system enhancements. • Proven ability to maintain the integrity, quality, control, and accuracy of large volumes of technical data through accurate data entry and management. Ma'aden High-Performance Competencies • Maintain engineering document, data, and deliverable format standards in coordination with discipline engineers. • Ensure that established engineering documentation and data standards are incorporated into Invitations to Bid (ITBs) for internal and external engineering work. • Participate in quality reviews of internal and external project deliverables to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
