• Ensure the safe and timely delivery to designated locations, adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and address any mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules to optimize route efficiency and accountability. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any potential issues promptly. • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or transportation is a plus. • Valid heavy vehicle driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in heavy-duty driving. • Familiarity with GPS systems and mapping software to navigate efficiently and effectively.
