Draughtsman-Interior Fit Out Industry

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects. • Develop detailed drawings for partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, doors, furniture, wall finishes, and other interior works. • Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts as required. • Review architectural drawings and project specifications before preparing shop drawings. • Ensure drawings are prepared according to approved designs, project specifications, and site requirements. • Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP requirements. • Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Designers, and subcontractors to resolve drawing-related issues. • Incorporate comments and revisions from consultants, clients, and project teams. • Make necessary revisions and maintain proper records of drawing revisions. • Prepare drawings based on site measurements and actual site conditions. • Prepare as-built drawings based on completed site works. • Ensure dimensions, levels, materials, and technical details are accurately reflected in drawings. • Assist the project team in preparing material and quantity details when required. • Maintain proper drawing registers and document control. • Follow company drawing standards, templates, and project procedures. • Support the site team by providing updated drawings and technical details whenever required. • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for technical drawings and fabrication details. • Ensure drawings are submitted within the required project timelines. • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. • 2–5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in Interior Fit-Out / Construction. • UAE experience is preferred. • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is required. • Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, or other design software is an advantage. • Good understanding of interior fit-out construction methods and materials. • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. • Good knowledge of shop drawing and as-built drawing preparation. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good coordination and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
