Draughtsman

To prepare and review detailed electrical drawings and layouts for high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and support for engineering, construction, and project execution activities. The role focuses on translating design concepts into precise technical drawings to facilitate seamless project implementation. Ø Prepare detailed electrical drawings including cable routing, termination, panel layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), and grounding systems. Ø Review and interpret engineering designs, specifications, and technical data. Ø Coordinate with electrical engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy. Ø Revise and update drawings as per site modifications and design changes. Ø Maintain proper filing of drawing records and version control. Ø Ensure compliance with industry codes, client standards, and project requirements. Ø Assist in preparing as-built drawings post-project completion. Ø Conduct site visits to gather data or clarify drawing-related issues. Ø Provide drafting support during tender and project execution phases. Ø Mentor junior draftsmen and support their technical development. Core Deliverables: Ø Accurate and complete electrical drawings (e.g., SLDs, wiring diagrams, layouts). Ø Updated and approved “as-built” drawings. Ø Timely submission of drawing packages for design reviews and construction. Ø Coordination drawings reflecting actual site and design requirements. Ø Drawing logs and revision histories properly maintained. Ø Compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. Ø Clear documentation supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Ø Efficient CAD drafting support to engineering and construction teams. Ø Integration of mark-ups and redlines into final drawings.
