**Desktop Support Engineer \- Windows PC, Laptop \& Printer Support (Junior)** **Location:** Muscat International Airport (MCT) or Salalah Airport (SLL), Oman **Please Read Before Applying** This position requires **commercial Desktop Support experience**. Applicants must have hands\-on experience supporting **Windows PCs, laptops, printers, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and end users** in a business environment. **About the Role** We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our Airport IT Support team. You will provide onsite technical support for Windows desktop computers, laptops, printers and end\-user devices at either **Muscat International Airport (MCT)** or **Salalah Airport (SLL)**. This role forms part of a **24x7 operational support team** responsible for maintaining high availability of airport IT systems and delivering excellent customer service. **Responsibilities** * Provide onsite Desktop Support for Windows PCs and laptops. * Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows desktop hardware and software. * Diagnose and repair PC, laptop and printer faults. * Support Microsoft Office and standard desktop applications. * Assist end users with hardware and software incidents. * Perform preventative maintenance on IT equipment. * Install software updates and approved hardware upgrades. * Maintain accurate service records. * Manage assigned tools and spare parts. * Deliver professional customer service while working to agreed service levels. **Minimum Requirements** * Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science or Electronics. * Minimum **1 year** commercial Desktop Support experience. * Windows 10/11 Desktop Support. * PC and laptop hardware troubleshooting. * Printer support experience. * Microsoft Office support. * Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * ITIL Foundation and CompTIA A\+ or Network\+ will be advantageous. * Airport IT support experience will be advantageous. * Must be legally eligible to work in Oman.
