Role Overview DWT Technology is seeking an experienced Design, BOD/Technical Standards & Governance Lead to drive design assurance, technical governance, standards compliance, and operational readiness for public safety and physical security technology projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Basis of Design (BOD), technical standards validation, design reviews, system integration, and technical risk management. The role involves ensuring that designs meet technical, operational, security, and domain-specific requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities • Lead design reviews and validate technical standards across project stages.
• Own and govern the Basis of Design (BOD) and technical standards.
• Ensure designs comply with technical, operational, security, and domain standards.
• Drive system supportability, maintainability, integration, and interoperability.
• Identify and manage design gaps, technical risks, deviations, and non-conformances.
• Oversee technical compliance, audits, and governance activities.
• Review physical security and public safety technology solutions.
• Ensure technical readiness before operational acceptance and project handover.
• Coordinate with engineering, technology, operations, and project stakeholders.
• 12 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong expertise in design and technical governance.
• Experience managing and governing Basis of Design (BOD).
• Strong knowledge of technical standards, compliance, and design assurance.
• Experience with public safety and physical security technology solutions.
• Understanding of system integration and interoperability.
• Ability to identify and manage technical risks, design gaps, deviations, and non-conformances.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Immediate joiners and short-notice candidates are preferred.
